Tail: starting in brown

Pause here and bend your pipe cleaner to the shape of the tail (not the rectangle portion at the end) and feed through your sc rds. Continue to sc around the pipe cleaner:
Rd 7-17: sc around (6)
fasten off brown and switch to yellow:
Rd 18-30: sc around (6) — complete rds until pipe cleaner is covered
sl st and fasten off
Attach your second pipe cleaner around your tail in a rectangle shape – see picture
You will now make two rectangles in yellow, which you will sew together and around your pipe cleaner rectangle:
Tail end: (make 2) in yellow
Sew the end of your tail to the cowl with part of it hanging below (see picture). Partially sew the yellow of the tail to the cowl. Sew the brown of the tail to the back of the hat
To make your hat nice and warm, and to help hide all the loose ends, crochet a lining:
