I hope you enjoy this easy Minnie Mouse Stuffy crochet pattern!

Skill Level/Techniques: intermediate/beginner – worked in rounds and rows with sc, hdc, and dc

Materials

Hook size 3.5

Yarn needle

Fiber Fill stuffing

Yarn:

  • Red heart super saver – black
  • Red heart super saver – pretty n pink
  • Off white (Aran)
  • light pink
  • white
  • black

Abbreviations

ch – chain

hk – hook

sc – single crochet

hdc- half double crochet

dc – db crochet

sl st – slip stitch

fo – fasten off

rd – round

ea – each

st – stitch

sc2tog – single crochet 2 stitches int0 1 stitch = decrease or invisible decrease

 

Head in black

Rd 1: ch 2, 8sc in 2nd ch from hk (8)

Rd 2: 2sc around (16)

Rd 3: (sc, 2sc) around (24)

Rd 4: (sc in 2, 2sc) around (32)

Rd 5: (sc in 3, 2sc) around (40)

Rd 6: (sc in 4, 2sc) around (48)

Rd 7: (sc in 5, 2sc) around (56)

Rd 8-20: sc around (56)

Rd 21: (sc in 5, sc2tog) around (48)

Rd 22: (sc in 4, sc2tog) around (40)

Rd 23: (sc in 3, sc2tog) around (32)

Rd 24: (sc in 2, sc2tog) around (24)

Rd 25: (sc, sc2tog) around (16)

Rd 26: sc around (16)

Rd 27: (sc, 2sc) around (24)

Switch to white (underpants)

Rd 39-41: sc around (32)

Ensure the head and body are stuffed well.

Rd 44: Division for legs: ch 4, skip 10 st, sc in 2, ch 1, turn, sc back across ch and sc beside first sc. You will have 10 unworked st on either side with 4 st in the middle.  FO

Legs and feet (repeat twice)

Attach black to either side of Rd 44

Rd 45: sc around the 10 unworked plus the middle 4 st (14)

Rd 46-58: sc around (14)

Rd 59: (sc in 2. 2sc) around (18)

Rd 60:  in front loops only: sc in 4, 2sc around (32)

Rd 61-62: sc in 8,(or however many to bring your st to the front – the next 8 st should be in the center front) hdc in 2, dc in 4, hdc in 2, sc in 16 (or until end) (32)

Shoes (repeat twice)

Switch to pretty n pink

Rd 63: in back lps only: sc in 8, hdc in 2, dc in 4, hdc in 2, sc in 16 (32)

Rd 64: sc in 8, hdc in 2, dc in 4, hdc in 2, sc in 16 (32)

Rd 65: sc in 8, hdc in 2, 2dc in 4, hdc in 2, sc in 16 (36)

Rd 66: sc around (36)

Rd 67: front loops only, sc around (36)

Rd 68: (sc in 4, sc2tog) around (30)

Rd 69: (sc in 3, sc2tog) around (24)

Stuff firmly

Rd 72: Sc2tog around (6) sl st, Fo. Finish stuffing.  Sew closed.

 

Dress in light pink:

Rd 1: ch 32, sl st closed, hdc around (32)

Rd 2-4: hdc around (32)

Rd 5: FO light pink, attach pretty n pink: sc around (32)

Rd 6: Fo pretty n pink, attach light pink:  (2dc, dc) around (48)

Rd 7: (2dc. dc in 2) around (64)

Rd 8-9: dc around (64)

Rd 10: switch to pretty n pink: sc around (64). sl st FO

White collar (top of dress)

Row 1: ch 29, sc down (28)

Row 2-3: ch 1, turn, sc across (28)

sl st, fo, sew to the top of the dress and to her body.

Skirt dots in white (make 10)

Rd 1: ch 2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hk (6)

Rd 2: 2sc around (12). Sl FO, sew onto the skirt and weave in the ends.

Sleeves, Arms and Hands (Repeat Twice)

With light pink:

Rd 1: ch 2, 8sc in 2nd ch from hk (8)

Rd 2: 2sc around (16)

Rd 3-4, sc around (16)

Rd 5: (sc2tog, sc) around (11)

Rd 6: FO light pink, attack pretty n pink: sc around (11)  Stuff.

Arm

Rd 7-13: FO pretty n pink, and switch to black: sc around (11)

Hands

Rd 14: fo black, switch to white: 2sc around (22)

Rd 15: (sc in 3, 2sc) around (27)

Rd 16-17: sc around (27)

Rd 18: (thumb) sc in 4, sl st across to the 20th st from the previous round, ch 1, sc in 2 (6).

Rd 19: sc around (6)

Rd 20: sc2tog around (3) sl st and FO

Reattach white to the hand at rd 18 and sc around (sc in same st as thumb start and end) (23). sc around a second time (23). sl st and FO. stuff hands.

Make fingers separately, stuff and sew onto the hand as follows:

Ch 2: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hk.

Pointer finger – do 8 rds

Middle finger – do 8 rds

Ring finger – do 6rds

Pinky finger – do 6rds

 

 

Cheeks (make 2) in Aran

Rd 1: ch 2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hk (6)

Rd 2: 2sc around (12)

Rd 3: (sc, 2sc) around (18)

Rd 4: (sc in 2, 2sc) around (24)

Rd 5: sc around (24) sl st, FO.

Set the cheeks aside.

Snout in Aran

Rd 1: ch 2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hk (6)

Rd 2: 2sc around (12)

Rd 3: (sc, 2sc) around (18)

Rd 4-8: sc around (18)

Do not FO, attach the snout to both cheeks as follows:

Rd 9: sc in one of the checks and in each st around (24), sc in 8 st of the snout, attach next cheek with a sc and sc around (24) sc in the last 8 sts of cheeks

(you are not working in Rows to create the area under the snout for Minnie’s smile)

Row 1: sc in 5, ch 1, turn

Row 2-3: sc in 16, ch 1 (16)   Dot not ch 1 ot turn after row 3

Work 1 round of sc around the entire snout/cheek area (67) FO.  Stuff snout. DO not stuff cheeks.

Nose in black

Rd 1: ch 2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hk (6)

Rd 2-3: sc around. 

sl st, FO. stuff if needed.  Sew nose to snout.  

Embroider a smile below the snout in black.

Sew snout/cheeks onto Minne’s face.

Eye background – Aran (repeat twice)

Rd 1: ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hk and in next 7 st. work 3sc in last st.  turn to work in foundation chs: sc in 7, 3sc in last st (21)

Rd 2: hdc in 9, 2sc in 2, hdc in 8, 2sc in 2 (25)

Rd 3: hdc in 11, 2sc in 2, hdc in 10, 2sc in 2 (29)

Rd 4:  hdc in 14,  2sc in 2 st. FO, sl st and sew above snout.

 

Eye whites (repeat twice)

Rd 1: ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hk and in next 3, 3sc in last st. Turn to work on foundation ch: sc in 3, 3sc in last st. (13)

Rd 2: sc in 5, 2sc in 2sc. sc in 4, 2sc in 2sc (17).  sl st, FO

Pupils in black

Rd 1: ch 2, 8 sc around. sl st to first sc. FO.  Sew to eye whites.

Embroider a white sparkle on the pupil.  Sew the eyes to the eye background.

Embroider eyelashes in black.

 

Ears (make 2) in black

Rd 1: ch 2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hk (6)

Rd 2: 2sc around (12)

Rd 3: (sc, 2sc) around (18)

Rd 4: (sc in 2, 2sc) around (24)

Rd 5: (sc in 3, 2sc) around (30)

Rd 6: (sc in 4. 2sc) around (36)

sl st, FO, sew to the head.

 

Bow in pretty n pink

Row 1: ch 25, skip 2, dc down (23 including beginning ch 2)

Rd 2-3: ch 2 (counts as first dc), turn, dc across (23)

ch 1, FO.  Use your fingers to pinch the middle of the bow down. Sew the middle closed

 

and VOILA! your own Minnie Mouse!
